Resident Orchestras & Associate Artists | Southbank Centre.
Southbank Centre is unique in having such a diverse and distinguished roster of Resident and Associate Artists. The London Philharmonic and Philharmonia Orchestras have developed individual and complementary season programmes, and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment has led the way with 'authentic' instrument performance in the Classical concert mainstream. The London Sinfonietta is second to none in its enterprising presentation of new music, and Southbank Gamelan Players are considered the finest outside Indonesia.
Between them they offer the highest quality music performance ranging from the 10th century to the present day, and our partnership with each one is invaluable in helping to present such a varied and adventurous programme throughout the year.
