A concert celebrating the centenary of the birth of British film and television composer Barry Gray.
The Philharmonia Orchestra perform from the original scores of films including Thunderbirds, Stingray, Captain Scarlet, Joe 90, UFO, Fireball XL5, Supercar, Doppelganger (Journey to the Far Side of the Sun) and Space: 1999.
Presented by Brian Blessed, special guests include Crispin Merrell (New Captain Scarlet), UFO organist Harry Stoneham, ‘Voces8’ and Pascale Rousse-Lacordaire on the ondes martenot. The guest of honour is Gerry Anderson.
A percentage of net proceeds will be donated to the Cinema & Television Benevolent Fund.
