The London Guitar Festival
Europe’s most exciting international guitar festival returns to Southbank Centre. World class artists from two continents meet to celebrate the excitement and variety of the guitar through concerts and a series of workshops. London Guitar Festival 2008 offers a fiesta of Andalusian flamenco for three nights, including one of the world’s greatest flamenco guitarists, Vicente Amigo. Other performers include the legendary ex-Rolling Stone Mick Taylor, new music from the Eden Stell Duo, Venezuelan virtuoso guitarist Luis Quintero Santamaria and the hugely popular Antonio Forcione. The workshops are suitable for guitarists at all levels and cover classical, flamenco, blues and monster riffs.
