Learning & Participation

Opportunities for learning and participation are fundamental to Hayward Touring’s exhibition programme. Working closely with participating venues, we want to create imaginative models for engagement that bring people closer to the ideas, approaches and materials of contemporary art and allow them to investigate and experience them authentically. We also want to find ways of linking work at participating venues with the Hayward Gallery and Southbank Centre in our desire to build a community around the UK and beyond which can share ideas and practice about art and culture and make new work together.
