As a centrepiece of the Chorus festival, Southbank Centre has invited artist Martin Creed to create a version of his Work No. 409 specially for the JCB glass lift in Royal Festival Hall, in which visitors’ journeys are accompanied by the recorded voices of Voicelab singers, rising as the lift rises and descending as it falls.
