Sarah Moulesoprano
Rising star soprano Sarah Moule makes her Southbank Centre debut in a rarely-heard arrangement of Britten and Auden's
Cabaret Songs. This exciting programme of jazz-influenced works includes Martinu's witty ballet score, 'an erotic
morality set in the kitchen, with a gallery of characters made up of cooking utensils' (Ales Brezina), and Walton's
Facade, the first to be recited in London by a member of the Sitwell family since Edith herself.
The Orchestra
of St Paul's, resident at the Actors' Church in Covent Garden, brings together some of the finest young professional
musicians in London under the baton of Musical Director Ben Palmer.
