Richard Thompson's many fans know that his solo concerts are always special events - 'without a band behind him, Richard Thompson bares his uncanny genius for weaving intricate, multiple lead and rhythm lines in ways that don't seem humanly possible' (Independent). His singular electric guitar playing, fused with his lyrical wit and dark humour, are matched by his passionate peformance - his new album Sweet Warrior shows him writing at the height of his powers.
For this one-off concert, he's invited the remarkable singer Mary Gauthier to join him as his special guest - her new album Between Daylight and Dark is out now on Lost Highway.
