All levels of the Auditorium can be reached using the JCB Glass lift or the other internal lifts. The door and seat number you need are printed on your ticket.
There are spaces for wheelchair users and their companions in:
- Rear Stalls (rows AA and XX)
- Side Stalls (row W)
- Boxes (3 & 31)
- Choir (row B)
There are seats which are easy to access in the stalls (rows A, B, BB, XX, W, X) and the bottom and top tier of boxes, for people with limited mobility.
Should be taken into the Auditorium, there are seats in (rows A and AA) that have additional space. Please let us know if you require additional space when booking.
There is an infrared system in the auditorium. You can use this by adjusting your hearing aid to the ‘T’ setting. Headsets can be collected from the Ticket Office.
There is a portable sound enhancement system that can be used in other areas.
There will be large print programmes available for some events.
Is accessible via a ramp or stairs from level 2. There is an Infra red system hearing enhancement system for Ballroom and level 2 performance area.
Headsets can be collected from the cloakroom.
There is level access to all the rooms in the education centre. There are accessible WC and changing rooms. There is a portable hearing enhancement system available.
There are power-assisted doors at each entrance of the hall.
Accessible WC’s are located on all floors of the hall and there are cubicles for ambulant disabled cubicles within the general facilities.
The Level 6 roof terraces are accessible with WC’s nearby. The Level 3 east pavilion has level access via a lift. Guide, hearing and companion dogs are welcome. A portable induction loop can be provided – please request in advance of your visit.
There is car parking available in the Hayward Gallery Car Park, on Belvedere Road and outside the Queen Elizabeth Hall Artists’ Entrance.
There is free parking for blue badge holders. Please take your car parking ticket and event ticket to any of the ticket offices and exchange it for a free exit ticket.
It is not possible for us to reserve car parking spaces.

Can carry 4 wheelchairs (18 people) has wide automatic doors, tactile buttons and voice announcements. It goes to all levels of the hall
