New River Press

Discover the work of the countercultural poetry publisher New River Press, in this showcase featuring work by new and established writers.

Founded in 2016 by artist Robert Montgomery and poet Greta Bellamacina, New River Press is described by AnOther magazine as ‘fuelled by restlessness and a frustration with the state of contemporary poetry in Britain.’

Their publications include the last book of poetry by the late environmentalist anarchist poet Heathcote Williams, a personal and sparkling collection from 21-year-old Rosalind Jana, and a political series of poems written in and about Jerusalem, by Irish poet Niall McDevitt.
