Royal Philharmonic Orchestra 2017

Join the highest calibre of international conductors and soloists for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s 2017 season.

The opening concert is an all-Beethoven programme, featuring the composer’s stirring Violin Concerto, conducted and performed by the legendary Pinchas Zukerman.

Sharing a decades-long association with the Orchestra, maestro Charles Dutoit returns for two concerts. First, he conducts Berlioz’ Benvenuto Cellini Overture, and then, he leads the orchestra through the sumptuous melodies of Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9.

Other highlights include Vadim Repin performing Prokofiev’s Second Violin Concerto, and Marin Alsop joining the Orchestra for the very first time to conduct Copland’s majestic Fanfare for the Common Man.

The Orchestra looks forward to welcoming you in 2017.
