A feast of English music. Elgar's well-loved Cello Concerto is played by the acclaimed BBC Young Musician, 16-year-old Laura van der Heijden, making her Southbank Centre debut.

To start there's Constant Lambert's jazzy choral take on The Rio Grande, also featuring the brilliant pianist Tom Poster.

The main choral work is Walton's exciting and iconic Belshazzar's Feast with the outstanding South African baritone Njabulo Madlala as soloist
