Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge mixes late 19th-century bohemian Paris with an MTV aesthetic.

As part of a three-week series of films screened in Royal Festival Hall, the movie comes to Southbank Centre’s Festival of Love.

The 2001 film starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor was described by Total Film as 'a heartfelt paean to good old-fashioned love that’s audacious in its wide-eyed passion, innocent love of fun and sheer showmanship'.

Make a night of it, dress up in character, and join in themed activities from 6pm in the foyers...

Join fully qualified ballroom teacher Rafal Pilot and his partner Fiona Millikin-Walker for a Tango taster session inspired by the 'Roxanne' sequence in Moulin Rouge. Open to all levels, including beginners.
