Jonathan Dove: Psalms for Leo (World premiere)
Marcel Dupré: Cortège et litanie for organ & orchestra, Op.19 No.2
Claude Debussy: La damoiselle élue
Interval
Hector Berlioz: Te Deum, Op.22

What better way to showcase the newly refurbished organ in Royal Festival Hall than to perform Berlioz's Te Deum?

The Te Deum calls for a large number of singers as well as a huge orchestra, which often makes it difficult to stage. In fact, the Te Deum was never performed during Berlioz's lifetime.

The Bach Choir presents this monumental work alongside a new work written by composer Jonathan Dove.
