About Hayward Touring
New curatorial approaches
Acting as a laboratory of ideas and nurturing new curatorial approaches, Hayward Touring’s exhibitions feature a thought-provoking mix of subjects and artists, intended to complement and expand upon our partner-galleries’ programmes.
Exhibitions range in scale from the British Art Show, the largest exhibition of contemporary art produced in the UK, to smaller monographic print and photography exhibitions.
We tour our exhibitions across Great Britain and beyond, showing in diverse venues from major museums and art centres, to schools and libraries.
Current exhibitions include British Art Show 8 curated by Anna Colin and Lydia Yee which will end its 15 month tour in Southampton on 14 January 2017; IN A DREAM YOU SAW A WAY TO SURVIVE AND YOU WERE FULL OF JOY curated by artist Elizabeth Price which launched at the Whitworth, University of Manchester, in June; and Louise Bourgeois Prints: Autobiographical Series And Set Of 11 Drypoints currently on at Jersey Arts Centre, St Helier.
Recent past exhibition highlights include Curiosity: Art & The Pleasures of Knowing (2013-2014) curated by Brian Dillon; All That is Solid Melts into Air (2013-2014) curated by artist Jeremy Deller; and The Universal Addressability of Dumb Things (2013) curated by artist Mark Leckey.
