Faust and the Mozart Concertos

International star violinist Isabelle Faust performs two of Mozart's violin concertos and Haydn's Symphony No.49. Often considered a stern, sombre, pessimistic affair, this symphony, known as La passione, has surprising lightness of touch and emotional depth that make it compelling listening.
