Eleftheria Arvanitaki - Beyond Borders

Hear the voice of contemporary Greece live as she returns to London for a one-off performance.

With a career spanning more than three decades, Eleftheria Arvanitaki is a tireless ambassador of the Greek music scene, performing at world and ethnic music festivals to great acclaim.

Blending traditional and contemporary influences from Greece and the Mediterranean basin, the clarity and emotional strength of her voice combines with sophisticated instrumentation for music that aims straight at your heart.

Highlights of Eleftheria’s international acclaim include invitations to represent Europe in Philip Glass’ Orion project, and from the Pope to sing in Rome, performing at the Athens 2004 Olympics. She has also collaborated with artists such as Cesaria Evora and Teofilo Chantre from Capo Verde, Ducle Pontes from Portugal, American-Armenian composer Ara Dinkjian, the Spanish group Amaral and many more.

Discover what makes her a worldwide sensation in this one-night-only show.

Opening act: Demodeux (Anastasis Sarakatsanos and Spyridoula Baka) and Alkis Livathinos

See these artists create an impression of Eleftheria's musical and lyrical world, as they open the evening's concert.
