George Li, piano

This concert marks theInternational Piano Series debut of the young Chinese-American pianist George Li.

Since winning silver medal at the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, he has been attracting rave reviews as his impressive career accelerates.

`Mr Li's playing combined youthful abandon with utter command' (New York Times).

He is also the winner of Paris's XIV Concours International Grand Prix Animato 2014 and a 2016 Avery Fisher Career Grant, and has been touring widely, notably with the conductor Valery Gergiev.
