Kick off the morning with some dancing. These two dance workshops are specially designed for disabled children and their families. Led by Juliet Diener, they include support staff from inclusive dance company icandance.
Christmas Singed Song Workshop
12 noon – 12.45pm & 2pm – 2.45pm
Join us for workshops led by leaders from the Koas Signing Choir for Deaf and Hearing Children. Two workshop leaders guide you as you sing and sign your heart out to well known Christmas Carols. No previous experience is required.
Winter Dance Workshop
3pm – 3.45pm
Join dancer Joel Brown of Candoco Dance Company as he gets you moving in The Clore Ballroom with an accessible workshop for all the family.
Christmas Crafting with Katie Farrell
11am – 4pm
Join crafty crafter Katie Farrell as she shows you how to make your very own personalised and customised baubles just in time for Christmas.
Suitable for disabled and non-disabled children ages 5 – 12, and their families.
Please note that all workshops, performances and film screenings are relaxed.
A relaxed performance is open to anyone but is particularly suited to those on the autistic spectrum or people who have learning disabilities, sensory or communication disorders. There is a relaxed attitude to noise and movement, and some small changes made to the light and sound effects.
