Give us...the meaning of love

Part of Winter

Craft your feelings with us to share what the greatest emotion means to you. Charity Headway East London return to Charity Shop Emporium weekend with an arty request for the public to give us the meaning of love.

Throughout Winter festival, Southbank Centre is encouraging audiences to think about different ways to give this Christmas.

Join a selection of artists who have survived brain injuries for a morning of crafts. Give to this project by sharing what love means to you, using a variety of materials and approaches.

These contributions then act as the basis and inspiration of a large-scale collaborative piece by multiple artists working at the charity’s art studio.

Headway East London is a local-based charity offering specialist services and support for people affected by brain injury. They also run an art studio at their Hackney day centre, Submit to Love Studios, where survivors can explore their creativity through painting, mosaics, murals and other art-based projects.
