50 years on from the first Mothers of Invention album release, Freak Out, Dweezil and his band hand-pick their favourite tracks from his father’s extensive back catalogue, in this concert.
Exposed to the music industry from a young age, Dweezil Zappa developed a strong affinity for playing guitar and producing music. Having made his own music in the past, he assembled a virtuoso band of musicians in 2006, and devoted himself to performing the music of Frank Zappa extensively at venues across the world.
In 2009, they won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance for their version of ‘Peaches en Regalia’ and remain the only official act to be playing Frank’s music since his death in 1993.
