Crazy Coffin Exhibition

Part of With God on Our Side… Religion and War

Come see an exhibition of elaborate, customised replica ‘Crazy Coffins’. This exhibition of ‘Crazy Coffins’ shows a more imaginative approach to a final resting place, reflecting the character and personality of the client.

The company has existed since Victorian times but began creating these wonderfully elaborate and atypical coffins for which it is famous in 1990.

After agreeing to create a coffin in the shape of an aeroplane and the image subsequently appearing in the media, the company received the nickname ‘Crazy Coffins’ from The Sun newspaper, a name they have since adopted as their own.

Soon after, Crazy Coffins began receiving bespoke requests and have grown their reputation for unusual design all over the world.

There is no range to choose your design from – all the coffins are bespoke, so the only limit is the customer's imagination.
