So It Goes

Part of Belief and Beyond Belief

Be moved by this show about how we respond to grief and the difficulties of talking about death.

Frank, funny and endlessly inventive, So It Goes explores the light and dark sides of grief in a deeply intimate and playful show.

Hannah has always wanted to talk about her dad. But in the seven years since he died, she hasn’t quite managed it. Not one to be defeated, she’s enlisted her friend David to help her journey through memory, laughter and sorrow, to finally come to terms with losing her dad.

'I have never seen a depiction of grief as deft, daring, amusing and moving as this one. An extraordinary debut.' (The Times)

'There’s so much delicacy and joy that it’s impossible not to love it' (Time Out)

'A powerful expression of what happens in those moments when words fail us.' (The Scotsman)

'So It Goes is an ingenious exploration of coping with grief which tries to find a way to say what cannot be spoken.' (The Guardian)
