Music of Today: Christian Mason

Part of Classical Season 2017/18

Christian Mason, a graduate of the Philharmonia Composers' Academy and a composer of 'crystalline concision and expressive precision' (The Guardian) has proved himself as one of the most exciting names of his generation.

We proudly present the world premiere of Man Made, a song cycle based on poems by David Harsent that reflects themes of man made loss and destruction, and Layers of Love, a work that conjures up the feeling of longing for something unattainable.
