Jazz Voice - Festival Opening Gala

Part of EFG London Jazz Festival

Celebrating the 10th year of Jazz Voice, the EFG London Jazz Festival’s signature opening night gala showcases a stellar cast of voices performing incredible tunes, backed by Guy Barker’s 42-piece orchestra.

The gala is an all-out tribute to the singer and the song. Among the vocalists in attendance at past editions have been Boy George, Jacob Collier, Paloma Faith, Gregory Porter, Dee Bridgewater and Kurt Elling.

The 42 musicians of Guy Barker’s orchestra play his deft arrangements, providing the scaffold from which this year’s voices soar.

This show is part of the EFG Excellence Series.

It would be difficult to imagine a more impressive curtain-raiser to the EFG London Jazz Festival than Jazz Voice

I’ve never felt anything quite like what I just experienced. So inspiring and invigorating to be supported by such a massive foundation of sound.
