Average White Band + LaSharVu

Part of EFG London Jazz Festival

Take a trip back to the 1970s, when British jazz-funk was firing up dance floors and concert halls around the world, with Average White Band leading the charge.

Decades later, the groove goes on. Years on the international tour circuit have only served to further refine AWB’s energy, soul and irresistible command of the groove.

Tonight’s concert is opened by vocal powerhouse LaSharVu. This trio is made up of Basement Jaxx lead vocalists Sharlene Hector and Vula Malinga, who have teamed up with LaDonna Harley-Peters to bring their own musical ideas to audiences around the world.

A fantastic show, there was nothing average about this one
