The Haiku Moment

Celebrate the upcoming International Haiku Day by meeting haiku poets and listening to their work.

The British Haiku Society (BHS) promotes the writing and appreciation of English language haiku in the UK. Mark this special day with them and haiku poets, in an event opening with a short introduction to the ways that haiku has developed and changed.

Readers Kate B Hall, Sue Schraer, Andrew Schimield, Diana Webb and Mark Gilfillan present a broad selection of styles and histories; their work reflecting both rural and urban experiences. Their readings are followed by a Q&A.
