Expanded Translation

Hear Forward Prize winning poet Vahni Capildeo and Michael Zand, author of The Messier Objects, read their work and discuss ideas around expanded translation.

Expanded translation pushes the boundaries of translation to include creative dialogues across different artforms and collaborative practices. The poets also respond to ideas left on postcards in The Poetry Library books since the beginning of the year.

Before this main event, drop-in between 2pm and 5.30pm to see a specially commissioned group of poets and thinkers present new discoveries that have taken place as part of their research at The Poetry Library. There is an hour break before the main poetry reading begins at 6.30pm.
