iGeneration: Being Human

Socialise, experiment and explore in a new monthly night for young creatives and thinkers, featuring music, performances and discussion.

Join us as we talk about the crisis in young mental health needs in this session of iGeneration.

Has mental health finally lost its taboo? Lady Gaga, Kid Cudi and Adele are just a few of the many famous figures who have recently come out to say that they have suffered with mental health problems. Statistics report that one in four people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year.

But how much has actually changed? The news reports of mental health problems increasing for young people and the NHS being inadequate at helping this group.

And furthermore, how easy is it to talk to friends, family and colleagues about mental health problems? We discuss this and more during the evening.

There is an open mic on the night, please bring your instruments.
