2017 Man Booker Prize Readings

Meet the 2017 Man Booker Prize for Fiction shortlist.

The Man Booker Prize is a byword for the finest literary fiction, with its canon containing some of the greatest writers since 1969. On the eve of the 2017 prize, join this year’s shortlisted authors for an evening of readings, conversation and find out more about their novels.

The host for the event, who introduces and interviews each of the shortlisted authors, is to be announced shortly.

The shortlisted titles are:

4321 by Paul Auster
History of Wolves by Emily Fridlund
Exit West by Mohsin Hamid
Elmet by Fiona Mozley
Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders
Autumn by Ali Smith

The winner is announced on Tuesday 17 October.

The 2017 Man Booker Prize for Fiction is chaired by Baroness Lola Young OBE and the judges are Lila Azam Zanganeh, Sarah Hall, Tom Phillips CBE RA, and Colin Thubron CBE.
