Chorus Schools Day

Part of Chorus

Take part in our Chorus Schools Day, a day of vocal exploration and learning for primary school pupils at Key Stage 2. Spend the day working alongside professional vocal artists Liz Swain, Tobias Hug and Matthew Hemson as they guide you through a variety of vocal styles and techniques.

During these three fun and engaging sessions, pupils and their teachers will learn how to tell stories with their voices through an exploration of range, sounds and expression. The day will culminate with a closed gathering in which all pupils come together to share the results of their work.

Workshop 1: Liz Swain – Groovy & soulful singing
Workshop 2: Tobias Hug – Beatboxing, rhythm & creating sound effects
Workshop 3: Matthew Hemson – Song-writing & composing your own piece of music
