Made in Britain

Part of Alchemy

Don’t miss Made in Britain, the hilarious follow up to Tez Ilyas’ smash hit stand-up show TEZ Talks.

Made in Britain is a sharp, personal, warm and witty account of what it means to be British and Muslim in 2017.

In 2015, Tez Ilyas achieved phenomenal success with his debut stand up show TEZ Talks. It was met with packed out audiences and huge commercial success at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. A totally sold-out run at Soho Theatre followed with additional dates at Southbank Centre as part of Alchemy 2016. The show went onto be adapted into a series for BBC Radio 4.

Tez has also been seen on BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Three, ITV2, Channel 4, E4, Comedy Central and Sky Arts.

A jaunty and deceptively eloquent show, sharply focused on what unites rather than divides us. ★★★★
The Guardian
Articulate, passionate, thoughtful and also crowdpleasingly teasing. ★★★★
