The Purcell School Freddy Morgan Piano Recitals

Part of International Piano Series

Talented young pianists from the UK's oldest specialist music school perform works by Ravel, Liszt, Debussy, and more in these recitals.

The Purcell School is one of the UK’s leading specialist music schools, and holds the UNESCO Mozart Gold Medal in recognition of its unique contribution to music, education and international culture.

In 2015, The Purcell School became the first-ever Fazioli Centre of Excellence.

Their keyboard department is well-known for nurturing the best young talent, including two of the three most recent BBC Young Musician of the Year winners, Lara Melda (2010) and Martin James Bartlett (2014), and Teo Gheorghiu, the youngest-ever recipient of the Beethoven-Ring (2010), Alexander Ullman, winner of the Liszt International Piano Competition (2011), and Alim Beisembayev, winner of the inaugural Junior Cliburn piano competition (2015).
