South Of Forgiveness - Shifting the Focus

A survivor of rape, Thordis Elva, takes the unusual and brave step of sharing her journey of coming to terms with the devastating impact of her sexual assault. She has invited the perpetrator, Tom Stranger, on to the stage, to take full responsibility for his actions.

Rape is one of the most complex and difficult issues that all societies around the world struggle to deal with, every day. This talk looks at how to shift the focus of the debate around rape and sexual assault, from victim to perpetrator.

Chaired by Jude Kelly, this talk is followed by facilitated group discussions, with Samaritans and Solace present.

The group discussions take place from 7pm to 8pm.
