Openly lesbian and proud in her identity, Young M.A’s story is a source of great inspiration. Having overcome tragic loss with the death of her brother, she’s created music that has drawn support from the likes of Beyonce, Alicia Keys and Nicki Minaj.
Performing beforehand is Canadian rapper and visual artist Tommy Genesis. Underground rap’s new rebellious queen and a self-confessed fetish rapper, Tommy regularly dresses in schoolgirl attire which she says is her own personal drag, used to crossover into another world. Her music is influenced by the internet, blurring the lines between electronic, hip-hop and multiple other genres, to explore everything from her dreams to sexuality, pain and boredom.
For ages 16+. Under 18s should be accompanied by an adult.
Please note this performance contains strong language.
