Teju Cole: Blind Spot

In a special event, acclaimed author and photographer Teju Cole explores unexpected connections between the visual world and written word, and offers a guide to seeing in our troubled times.

The award winning author of Every Day Is for the Thief, Open City and Known and Strange Things, Teju Cole is also a photographer whose work has been widely exhibited.

In a live event drawing on an innovative new work, Blind Spot, Cole brings these two passions together, with images and text transporting the audience around the world, from New York to Switzerland and the Congo.
