Music Maze is a set of composing resources, each taking a different piece of contemporary classical music repertoire as their starting point. This session, led by Nancy Evans, Director of Learning & Participation for Birmingham Contemporary Music Group (BCMG), takes children through the processes composers use to help support the group to create their own music.
All abilities are welcome. If you have an instrument, please bring it with you, but it is not a requirement for participating in the workshop.
This workshop ends with a performance for children's parents and friends to enjoy, held in Blue Room, Level 1, Royal Festival Hall at 1.30pm.
For ages 8 – 11
Two licensed chaperones are present throughout the workshop, so parents can leave their children for the duration.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to pass on emergency contact details and any other relevant information.
Please bring your own packed lunch. Water is provided.
