Hosted by Swedish jazz singer, Cecilia Stalin, you are invited to don a bib and hat, devour delectable crayfish, and sing-along to Swedish drinking songs (with a shot of Aquavit schnapps, if you're so inclined). You can also enjoy live music from Cecilia and her band, and a cappella group, Vox.
The menu for the feast includes:
Pandalus Crayfish (approx 450g per portion), Norrmejerier västerbottensost cheese, Scandinavian sourdough crispbread and corn on the cob, all accompanied by dill mayonnaise.
There are two sittings on each day of the weekend, early lunch and late lunch. For £22 per person you can enjoy the full feasting menu. To enjoy a shot of Aquavit schnapps with your crayfish, tickets are £25 per person.
Before you feast, drop in to the free crayfish hat making station in the cafe from 11.30am to decorate your partywear.
After your feast, stay around to enjoy the Terrace Bar into the evening, with live DJs from 5pm including Norwegian DJ Linn Kristin (Saturday) and Heart N’ Soul (Sunday).
Early lunch: 12noon – 1.30pm
Late lunch: 2.30pm – 4pm
Guests should arrive 15 minutes before the start of each sitting to allow time to be seated and to buy drinks at the bar.
