Friday Tonic: Douglas Dare

Part of Erased Tapes is ten

Start your evening off with music from London-based singer-songwriter and pianist Douglas Dare.

Having begun composing instrumental music at a young age, he took up songwriting in 2008 while studying music at university in Liverpool.

His elegantly moody, piano-based songs and haunting voice has drawn comparisons to artists such as Thom Yorke and James Blake, and in 2013 attracted the attention of Erased Tapes.
