A Brief History of the Coolest Instrument in the World

Part of EFG London Jazz Festival

Celebrate great guitarists through the ages with a mixture of live performance and presentation, in A Brief History of the Coolest Instrument in the World, by Chris Montague.

Rejoice in the versatility of the electric guitar as we mark the milestones of the instrument’s prolific role through 80 years of popular culture, from Chuck Berry to Jimi Hendrix. This is also an opportunity for amateur guitarists aged 7 and over to perform an original composition with Chris and his band on stage.

During the EFG London Jazz Festival 2017 there are performances of A Brief History of the Coolest Instrument in the World taking place in both Hull and London.

It is free to watch this performance. To apply to take part, please sign up here.
