Friday Tonic: Harrison Storm

Part of Friday Tonic

Hear Australian singer-songwriter Harrison Storm perform his soulful vocals and finger-picked guitar in this free concert.

With a sound that has been compared to contemporaries like Ben Howard and Matt Corby, Storm’s seaside-inspired tunes are sure to soothe and delight.

From humble beginnings busking in the streets of Melbourne, Storm released his debut EP, Sense Of Home in 2015. Its title track was prominently placed on key Spotify playlists, amassing over 19 million streams and catching the attention of Nettwerk CEO and co-founder Terry McBride, who personally signed Storm.

Since then, the singer-songwriter has performed to packed crowds across Melbourne, alongside the likes of Michael Franti, The Cat Empire, Husky, and more.

Storm officially arrived on the global scene with his Nettwerk debut EP Change It All in 2017, featuring the stand-out title track that has over 7 million combined streams and was used in NBC’s hit TV show The Blacklist.

In the wake of this new release, Storm played a successful first series of US shows. He then returned to Australia to showcase at Australian Music Week and to support critically acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter Josh Pyke on a 12-date tour of the country.
