My Bloody Valentine

Part of Meltdown

My Bloody Valentine return to the London stage for Robert Smith’s Meltdown – their first UK show in five years, with support from The Soft Moon.

Formed in 1983, the classic line-up came together in London in 1987 and still includes all of the original members: Kevin Shields, Colm Ó Cíosóig, Bilinda Butcher and Debbie Googe.

The iconic and much-loved group is known for its blend of dissonant guitar textures with ethereal melodies and unorthodox production techniques.

Their debut album Isn't Anything is generally regarded as one of the most influential records of the 1980s, acting as an important precursor to the early 1990s alternative rock.

The band released their second full-length album Loveless in 1991, which was hailed as a masterpiece. It was many years before they released their eponymous third album, m b v, in February 2013.

For My Bloody Valentine, 2018 marks the start of the next chapter in the band's journey, with new music and more touring to come.
