Stand Up Guys: BAM Comedy Night

Part of Being A Man

Join a lively night of stand-up as leading comedians take an irreverent look at what being a man means today.

Come and laugh along with Mawaan Rizwan (BAFTA-nominated comedian whose credits include DNN, BBC3’s How Gay is Pakistan as well as his YouTube channel which has attracted over 20 million views and 90k subscribers; Prince Abdi (Comedy Central's The World Stands Up, BBC Three's Laughter Shock and ITV's FHM Stand Up Hero); and Kae Kurd, Chortle's Best Newcomer nominee, who came to the UK as a political refugee at just six months old, his parents fleeing Saddam Hussein's brutal regime. In his highly anticipated debut show, this multi-award nominated rising star guides us through a lifetime of displacement, as seen on BBC Three, All 4 and Channel 5 and heard on BBC Radio 1Xtra.

The evening is hosted by CALM campaigner and creator of BBC Three doc Happy Man, Jack Rooke.
