Lewisham Music Summer Gala

Part of Classical music

Revel in the energy of Lewisham’s young people at an exuberant event showcasing their musical talents, under the baton of Clare Caddick.

The performance features the premiere of a work for massed choirs. Endurance, by composer and workshop leader James Redwood and librettist Hazel Gould, is a brand-new vocal work for 1000 singers.

Lewisham Music is the lead music education hub organisation in the south London borough of Lewisham. Working together with artistic, community and school partners, they support progression pathways and music-making opportunities for young people at every stage of their musical development.
