As a regular at Ronnie Scott's, Jones is well versed in the Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and George Gershwin jazz standards. She proves the versatility of her voice with her renditions of hits from artists such as Sting, Lionel Richie and Stevie Wonder.
The singer appeared on the New York jazz scene as Joan Shaw in the 1950s, but moved to London in 1965, reinventing herself as Salena Jones. She has since toured internationally and recorded forty-three solo albums to date.
Jones is accompanied by an 18-piece orchestra at this concert conducted by composer Keith Mansfield.
