Lee Bul in Depth

Part of What You Need to Know

Get the most out of the exhibition with this in-depth exploration of Lee Bul’s practice, influence, and cultural relevance, part of the What You Need to Know series at Southbank Centre.

This event offers exclusive early morning access to the Hayward Gallery before the exhibition opens to the general public with a guided tour of the exhibition. Your guided tour will introduce key themes of the exhibition and explore and de-code Lee Bul's work in this spectacular dream-like landscape exhibition.

Following the guided tour, study day host Ben Luke (art critic at the Evening Standard and host of the Art Newspaper podcast) will introduce and interview experts in Lee Bul's oeuvre to explore her practice in context, including a special talk from textiles expert Janis Jefferies.

In a special interview, we'll also take a behind-the-scenes look at how the exhibition came to be, conceptually and physically, with Hayward Gallery Associate Curator Eimear Martin and head technician Timothy Barker.

This event will also include a Q&A for individuals to speak with curators and experts about the exhibition.
