Teachers Twilight Session: Art to Inspire

Part of Andreas Gursky Exhibition

Teachers of all subjects are invited to a free evening to see the first major UK retrospective of the work of acclaimed German photographer Andreas Gursky.

You can take part in a free guided tour in the newly refurbished Hayward Gallery, network with your peers, enjoy a free glass of wine and hear more about the artists from Hayward Gallery Director and exhibition curator Ralph Rugoff and guest speakers.

Get useful tips on using different techniques of responding to art to inspire you to unlock creativity in your classroom.

Gursky is known for his large-scale, often spectacular pictures that portray emblematic sites and scenes of the global economy and contemporary life and is widely regarded as one of the most significant photographers of our time.

This event is free and exclusively for primary and secondary school teachers. Please use the name and address of your school when booking. Please arrive promptly at 5pm for the tour.
