Raise your voices and move your bodies in this workshop inspired by a well-known children's story. You'll be able to demonstrate your new skills in a short performance alongside special guest artists.
The workshop is led by performers Danilo ‘DJ’ Walde, Annie Taylor-Gooby and Sophie Winter.
Danilo ‘DJ’ Walde Danilo 'DJ' Walde is a composer, musician, director, consultant, DJ and performer from West London, and is a Music graduate of Brunel University. He has created for theatre, film and dance for the likes of ZooNation: The Kate Prince Company, the Royal Shakespeare Company, the English National Ballet, and in 2012 DJ’ed in front of a worldwide television audience for the London 2012 Paralympics opening ceremony. Danilo also works as an artist-tutor, running music-based projects for various charities and institutions, including The Roundhouse, Mousetrap and Ministry of Stories. He is a regular performer and leader for Some Voices choir.
Annie Taylor-Gooby After training at both LIPA and Broadway Dance Centre, Annie has performed at The Echo Arena, Carnegie Hall, KOKO, The O2 Arena, Edinburgh Festival, X Factor and the London 2012 Summer Olympics. Annie has taught adults and children for many years in schools, open classes, gyms and private sessions across London. She also works in management and production roles, both independently and for ZooNation: The Kate Prince Company.
Sophie Winter Sophie is a London based theatre-maker and musician who trained at the Ecole Jacques Lecoq. She leads choirs across London in association with Some Voices, with whom she also sings professionally. Sophie is co-artistic director of on the button theatre, and has devised and performed in productions which have played at The Young Vic and Edinburgh Festival, and toured the UK.
