With performances from children aged five to 15, the programme features music from Suzuki to Shostakovich, as well as world premieres of works for young musicians by composers including Mark-Anthony Turnage and Colin Matthews.
London Music Masters began with a point to prove: every single child is worth a great music education. The charity started life working with two state primary schools in Lambeth, providing musicianship, instrumental tuition and creative project and performance opportunities to 60 children.
The award-winning organisation now works with 1500 children in seven schools across Lambeth, Westminster and Islington, engaging with the communities that most benefit from the opportunities it provides.
Together with its creative partners, artists, award-holders and dedicated teaching team, London Music Masters is committed to creating a learning environment in which each child can thrive musically and personally.
