The Honey Colony: Bonnie Banane, Kelsey Lu, Lafawndah, Tirzah + more

Witness the evolution of pop at a barrier-breaking concert experience from Lafawndah and friends, bringing her Honey Colony mixtape onto the stage.

A live spectacle bringing together the minds and music of Tirzah, Bonnie Banane, Kelsey Lu, Lafawndah, Nídia, Valentina Magaletti and Elheist, The Honey Colony is a concert experience that reflects the sprawling, fluid friendships and affinities that generate some of the most forward-thinking body music today.

Your hosts collaborate and perform together on stage, reinterpreting and reforming one another’s most-loved songs into one extended setlist, embodying a new concept of performance and live music. This is an evening of experimentation and celebration, of sharing music and and creating new forms.

Kelsey Lu, the classically trained cellist and pop star, makes a one-off appearance from New York, and south London MC and singer Elheist debuts brand new material. Also from south London, Tirzah and her band bring their brand of underground R&B which has led to great critical acclaim for their debut album.

Lisbon DJ and producer Nídia champions the Afro-Portuguese sounds of kuduro, batida and tarraxinha, while London-based Valentina Magaletti adds her much admired and respected percussion skills to the piece.

Curator of the line-up and producer of the Honey Colony mixtapes, pop adventurist Lafawndah completes the crew.
