Yaron Herman

Dive into the music of world-class jazz pianist and composer Yaron Herman as he performs music from his upcoming album.

With a background in the European concert hall music tradition, a short stint at Berklee College School of Music and his current presence in the Parisian music scene, Yaron has developed a wild improvisational flare, culminating in a playful, cinematic musical style.

Herman has toured every continent, presided over the jury of the Montreux Jazz Festival Competition, headlined television broadcasts in 39 different countries, collected numerous awards, and was the first ever jazz pianist to play in the Forbidden City in Beijing.

Signed to Universal Jazz & Classics’ Blue Note Label, Yaron’s new album, to be released in spring 2019, sees a return to the classic art of the trio, featuring Ziv Ravitz on drums and Sam Minaie on double bass.

Masterful piano playing that mixes extreme virtuosity and a razor-sharp wit
